Deze donderdagochtendcursus geeft de mogelijkheid zowel portret als model (gekleed als ongekleed) te beoefenen. We werken in diverse formaten en diverse materialen. Dit kunnen zijn klei, was of gips. Daarnaast leren we gaandeweg verschillende technieken van opbouw.
Ook met krijt leren schetsen van het model is onderdeel van de les.  Het ontwikkelen van tekenen als geheugensteun.

We werken ruim 3 uur incl. pauze zodat je echt de tijd hebt je met het onderwerp in te laten.

Alle aspecten van maat, verhouding, ritme, stand, materiaalgebruik komen uitgebreid aan de orde. Ieder wordt individueel begeleid dus er is plaats voor beginner en gevorderde.

Sculpting / modelling: Model and portrait making

This Thursday morning course offers you the opportunity to practice both portrait and full model (dressed as well as undressed) sculpting. We work in various formats with various materials. This can be clay, wax or plaster. In addition, we gradually learn different techniques of image formation. 

Learning to sketch the model with chalk is also part of the lesson. Developing these drawings is used as a memory aid.

We work for more than 3 hours including a break so that you really have the time to get involved with the subject.

All aspects of size, proportions, rhythm, position, and use of materials are discussed in detail. Everybody is supervised individually so there is room for beginners as well as advanced sculptors.

There is so much more to tell about this fascinating subject, but that is better covered in class.
